A Breath

Here I am
Drowning in my mind again
I’m talking to myself at night
And I’m wondering why
We are here

We were asking for more speed
But now look at what challenges us
Something that we’ve never felt
That passes through our shells
And cannot be healed

From the fear and the pain that changes the world
A breath becomes vitality
A moment with some sanity
To bring the light and peace
That we need

What would you give to those who still have hope?
What would you say to a lonely sick world?

That we are fighting for a reason that let us free
We will find at least one more way to see
We won’t deny, a road may be longer than it seems to be

We’ll understand the meaning of this stolen time
We will learn to give what we have inside
No matter if we’ll need to change our lives
We’ve walked this path but never know it
We’ve got this far without even choosing how
